I'm a little interested in Sarah Tillotson who was living with her son as a lodger. I guess no one knows now why she wasn't living with her family. Luckily she did marry when she was 44.
I'm descended, on my mother's side, from Sarah's brother Samuel. He had 5 children, one of whom was Martha Ellen, my great grandmother.

HI Christine, back in November, 2008, someone contacted me to say that a member of this Tillotson family had an illegitimate child with my relation, William Catlow (1834-1910). Unfortunately the person who contacted me had no proof, and the only connection she could make was that they both lived at Waterside, Colne in the 1851 and 1861 census.

It turns out that this contact is one of them name collectors who tacks on to other trees willy nilly. If I remember right, she was directly related to Henry VIII and Jesus Christ. She has about 20,000 names in her tree.
