This is a message posted on OGFB by 'frankwilk' but I thought it also relevant here so I asked his permission to copy it.

I received this from the author, and thought it may be of interest to others.

In the past I have exchanged e-mails with Stephen, when an article he placed in the Burnley Express was posted on OGFB. Through that post I contacted Stephen and he passed on information about the 8th East Lancs which allowed me to find the location in which my Uncle was killed in action.

Should this be deemed to be advertising I would accept that the post can be removed
