By John Cowell.

Another one for the 'to read' pile. Paid £2 on ebay.

Winifred's story written by her son as a tribute. The story of Winifred is also the story of working class life in the 1st half of the 20th century and it portrays a Burnley, which although still within living memory, has long since disappeared.

I think I have lost the plot now  This book arrived in the post this mornign but I had no recollection of ordering it or bidding on it or anything about it! I have had to search through my emails to discover how I came by it! There really is no hope for me :?

Your nowt but a lass at 36, I class 50-69 as middle age, then 70-79 as senior, then after that I'm afraid a class it as old age. This is just my personal opinion

Not read this yet but my mum has. She didn't rate it. Someone else said more or less the same.
