Just managed to get my hands on a copy of this. I paid £40. There is another copy on Amazon for £70

Have yet to read it in any depth but it gives interesting descriptions of various old properties in Lancashire as well mentioning some of those who lived in them. Probably more of a reference book than a book that I would read from cover to cover. About to head into the section for Briercliffe.

I've got Halls and Manor Houses of North East Lancashire, haven't heard of the one you've got.

It was used as a source for a bit of info in another book I have, possibly one of John Claytons. I've looked for it several times and never found it. this time I found 3 copies. The 3rd was priced at £130ish, I thought it was on amazon but I might be mistaken.

I've had 2 other books this week, must put the details on.
