Thanks to Mel for this 'alert' !

I'm up in Lancs next weekeend, so it won't reach the Colne bookshop or the Heritage Centre till Saturday, or Sunday maybe in the latter case !

Hope those of you who buy it enjoy it ! ('A tale of three brothers', up to a point)

Rex

Also in Colne Library.

Comments/queries welcome.

I've just come across a death notice (on the new newspapers website), (Manchester Mercury), saying that John Stutterd was founder of the church, and that he presided over it for nearly 40 years. This strengthens the case for formation in say 1778 (see discussion in booklet).

I have just read Rex's books on the Colne and Haggate Baptist chapels - and heartily recommend them!
