Can anyone supply infomation on Lane End WMC.? In Harle Syke. I think my grandfather Thomas Constantine (manager of Walshaw Mill) was a member? |

The only working mens club I can think of in Harle Syke is the one at the top of Holgate St and Parker St---Briercliffe Working Mens Club. You can find it on street view on google earth. The only other thought I have is Lane Head as against Lane End????? Sorry not to been of more help. Gloria |

I think the Lanehead WMC you mean was the one on the road behind Briercliffe Rd (the hill part where the school is.) We spent many a good night there before it closed down a number of years ago. It was pulled down and houses built in it's place. regards Margaret |
