I am new to the forum and am tracing my ancestors who lived in the Burnley area. I am looking for information on Elizabeth Ann Redman born c 1854 in Burnley, daughter of Joseph Redman. Elizabeth married Thomas Baldwin born c 1851 in Burnley. I would love to know if anyone has information on the Redman family. Thomas and Elizabeth were my great grandparents. I would also like any information on my great grandparents Sanders Davis Mills born 1847 in Huntingdonshire, and his wife Jane Levitt also of Huntingdonshire, and their association with Ohio, USA. Thank you. Violet.

Hi Violet, welcome to the forum.

Another Mills contact! Sanders Davis Mills was the father of Spendlove Mills who has been mentioned recently on here. Sanders married Sarah Sutcliffe after Jane died. Sarah is the sister of my gt gt grandmother!

The only reference I have in my file for the Mills and America is from the census. It would seem that they went in 1867ish and returned to England in 1872.

This is the topic where spendlove Mills gets his mention.

Lovely to meet you!
Thank you for the information.
I hope we can glean a little more.
