:) Hi, everyone was this school at the end of Tunnel Street oposite the Recorey, there is a picture on youtube
of the Societys video showing pupils at this school, the little girl in the centre holding the card up I believe is my Mum the class look six or seven years old and thats the age my Mum would have been when the picture was taken in 1911 my Mum was born in 1905

Hi,

The school was on High Street which ran parallel to Whittlefield Street to the right. It was just behind Barracks railway station.

Hi, everyone my Grand Daughter teaches at Whittlefield Primary School on Tabour Street over looking Whittlefield Recreation Ground as was
I told her that her Great Grandma went to that school and when I sent her the photo she could not believe it, she took it onto the school and the went wild for her the were all amazed.

Woildn't it be good if schools had an exhibition showing photos of students from the past and pictures of how the school once looked.
