Hi, everyone I need your help I must apologize for asking a question not about the usual things but it's something thats bothering me, in the 1970s there was a film on TV I think it was Yorkshire Television it was taken at a mining Pit were Prince Charles was visiting the Pit they had cleaned all the land round the buildings and all the roads and spacers and they painted an area for the helicopter to land, on the day all the miners and the bosses were all lined up in suits, white shirts, and black ties, to recieve the Prince as the helicopter started to desend the down drought from the roters blow the dust all over the men waiting, as the Prince walked up to them the site that greeted him was really laughable some of them wore wigs these had blown off and all there faces were black, does anyone know what the film was called.

Hi,everyone sorry for the delay I have not been able to login but Mel sorted it, on the Yorkshire Television Program with now one able to help me, I sent an e-mail to Ted Robbins on Radio Lancashire and he did not let me down the Film was called THE PRICE OF COAL by Ken Loach it wasn't a Yorkshire
program it was a BBC program I ordered it from Amazon £24.83 there are 6 disc's with 9 story's it's really good these are the films 1.The Big Flame 2.Three Clear Sundays 3.Day's of Hope 4.The End of Arthur's Marriage 5.In Two Minds 6.Up The Junction 7.The Price Of Coal 8.Cathy Come Home
9.The Rank and File. If you like films from the 60s & 70s These are for you. Cliff.

How enterprising of you I wouldn't have thought of Ted Robbins but he's an all-round good bloke.
