Stumbled across this site by accident. I am looking for any information regarding the Stuttard name, especially William Stuttard and Hill End Mill. Many thanks

Hi, in Roger Frosts book A Lancashire Township there is a reference to a William Stuttard.
1898 he was asked to repair the Ogglty Cogglty as a local tradesman. His expenses came to £3-2s-6d.

If you click the search icon top right of this website and type in the name Stuttard you will find discussion of other Stuttards. I remembered having a query about Jabez Stuttard answered on this forum.
