I have a list of about 20-25 newspaper entries that I would like print-outs for. I have the date and the name but not the page number. They are the notices of some of the soldiers either killed in action or missing in action so maybe not too difficult to spot though I don't know that for sure! Does anyone have a spare afternoon that they could obtain these for me please? I'll send a cheque to cover print-out costs and postage. I can't get to the library for another couple of weeks yet as I have committed myself to a trip to Halifax this week. |

No Portia,she will be talking about downstairs at the Central Library in the Reference section. They have all the old Burnley Expresses on Film.Its best to give them a call first to make sure that they have a film reader free. I have got them done in the past for Mel,if you cant make it let me know and I will get them done. David |

Thanks both of you. It is Burnley Express (& News?). I'll PM the list to you Portia. Don't worry if you can't do it. I need an address to brass you up unless I pay you at the meeting? Speaking of those David, I haven't added them have I yet! |
