Sales by Auction

Catlow Row, Marsden Cross, near Brierfield

To be SOLD by AUCTION, by Messrs. M. and T. WATSON, on Monday, the 27th day of September, at seven o'clock in the evening, at the Leeds and Liverpool Hotel, Brierfield, near Burnley, in the following or such lots as may be agreed upon at the time of sale, and subject to such conditions shall be then and there produced,-
Lot 1.-All those five substantially stone-built MESSUAGES or Dwellinghouses situate and numbered 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18 respectively, and also the Building formerly used as a Bakehouse and numbered 20, forming part of Catlow Row, at Catlow Brow, Marsden Cross aforesaid, and in the respective occupations of Robert Hudson and others.
Lot 2.-All those five substantially stone-built MESSUAGES, or Dwellinghouses situate and numbered 44, 46, 48, 50, and 52 respectively at Catlow Brow aforesaid, and in the respective occupations of Mark Chadwick and others.
Both of the above-mentioned lots are Copyhold Leasehold of the Manor of Ightenhill, and will be sold for the residue of a term of 999 years, reated by an Indenture dated the 15th day of October 1819. Each Lot will be sold subject to an apportioned yearly ground rent of £1 10s., and to the rents, suits, and services of the said manor.
The tenants will shew the property, and further information may be had from the Auctioneers, Manchester-road, Burnley, Mr. Robert Taylor, Haggate House, Briercliffe, near Burnley, Mr. John Sutcliffe, solicitor, Burnley, or
