Hi. Am wondering if anyone has information about my grandfather James Meaghers' sisters all born between 1855 and 1868 in Monsea, Nenagh Co. Tipperary |

Have you tried this site. http://www.limerickcity.ie/DigitalArchi ... llections/ Put Meagher in the search box and press enter. I'm not promising your particular family but there are quite a number of entries for "Meagher's" Best of luck. |

Hi Gloria. No connection with Briercliffe that I know of except that another member...Stephen Bray posted up a photo of a cousin of theirs....also a James Meagher JP who lived in the same parish in Ireland: Monsea. I thought that perhaps one or more of these girls may have emigrated to England to join a relative who common to both, or even better that the original owner of the photo was one of them...I'd be hardly that lucky!!!! Hi Plaques. thanks for the suggestion. You're correct.....lots of Meaghers. Its a very common name in North Munster. |
