This line is an interest I share with Charon10. We both have Salts from Cheadle and Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.

I have Mary Salt marrying John Barlow in Cheadle on 3 Dec 1837. Mary was the daughter of Richard & Elizabeth Salt.

John was the son of Samuel & Sarah Barlow.

I am a Barlow from Burnley and I have a Joseph Barlow born at Cheadle Stockport, circa 1842

Details as follows:

1. JANE1 RILEY was born 1841 in Cheadle Stockport, and died January 10, 1910 in Burnley, Lancashire, England. She married JOSEPH BARLOW January 19, 1862 in St Mathews Parish Church Stockport Chester, son of JOSEPH BARLOW and HANNAH LAWTON. He was born 1842 in Cheadle Stockport, and died March 9, 1888 in Burnley, Lancashire, England age46.

Burial: Burnley Cemetery, Lancashire, England grave no 6273

More About JOSEPH BARLOW:
Burial: March 14, 1888, Burnley Cemetery, Lancashire, England grave no 6273

Children of JANE RILEY and JOSEPH BARLOW are:
2. i. JAMES WRIGHT2 BARLOW, b. July 23, 1862, Cheadle Stockport; d. February 12, 1929, Burnley, Lancashire, England age 66.
ii. WILLIAM BARLOW.

I'm afraid my Barlows are from Cheadle in Staffordshire.
