My Husbands 3x Great Grandmother was Grace Brown nee Ormerod who was born in 1812/13 at Height in Cliviger, her parents were John and Ann (nee Rawlinson) I found quite a few baptisms for children of John and Ann, all at St John the Divine in Clliviger on the OPC site, but I haven't been able to find them on the census returns. There is a possibility that Abraham Ormerod of Heights who was accused of beating to death a man in 1801 may be related and I would love to be able to find out more about the Ormerods. |
