Post subject:  Any Information HAIGE FAMILY COLNE

Hi
I have a new ancestor line to trace the HAIGE family from the COLNE area.
Richard Baldwin married Margaret Haige about 1819 Colne (3rd great grandparents). Their occupation was apparently the grocery business.
Haige information would be gratefully received.
Thank you
violet :D

Hi Violet,
The marrriage of Richard and Margaret can be found on the lan-opc site for St Bartholomew at Colne. The baptisms of four of their children are also listed.

It's a fantastic resource Violet. (you're not being thick. Sites appear all the time, it's really difficult to stay on top of what is out there.)

This site aims to extract and preserve the records from the various parishes and to provide online access to that data, FREE of charge, along with other data of value to family and local historians conducting research in the County of Lancashire. An OnLine Parish Clerk should not be confused with Parish Clerks, who work for parish or town councils.
