Yates's in Burnley is a Grade II listed building which is about 200 years old and used to be called the 'Boot Inn'. An old boot set in stone is still located outside the pub.

Looks like another old building going to be lost, I do hope that something can be done with this building that stands in the centre of the town. Surely if it is a listed building 'they' wont be allowed to demolish it will they? Hope that it does'nt get turned into something tacky either. They are closing it due to lack of trade, which they blame on the No smoking ban.
