I know roughly where it is but does anyone know anything about it please?
I've discovered today that my Nans sister lived at the lodge there with her hubby in the 1930's or 40's.

Next question - any idea where I might find any recent info for inhabitants (mainly of the lodge). By recent, I mean 1935 to about 1950. Trying to pinpoint when they were there and what they did.

Nans sister was Ada Sutcliffe and she married Thomas Lawson. Both originated from Briercliffe.

The library may be able to point you in the right direction, or maybe the Land Registry, though I don't know if they give out that kind of info.
Preston Records Office has usually been my first port of call for old properties as they were usually part of an estate and there seems to be lots of paperwork kept on them.
Would they be on old electoral rolls?

Thanks Gloria.
I would have thought they would be on the electoral roll, I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be?
