This property of the Parish was taken by the sexton to the house of the deceased at a charge of sixpence. The coffin and sometimes the uncoffined corpse was covered with the Parish pall.

Lyndon only visits the site if I have a problem that I can't fix. :wink: If it's a forum problem, I tend to ask Kev as he has more experience of forums.

Notice the time of the post though, it was while Lyndon was still in bed and before the working day starts. Well his working day anyway. I had cleaned up, shopped, walked the dog and posted on here before he even opened his eyes.
