I can't resist including Pentheraphobia - fear of a Mother-in-Law - though I'm confident none of us has any use for such a word. But perhaps it's time to move on to words for things we love. I found a jokey item on Rootsweb, the relevant part of which was: Genealogophilia: "doing a bit of research into the family tree" or "obsessive family history disorder". But of course, if the word existed at all, it really ought to mean "love of genealogy". Plenty of that around. Charon |
