Can't comment on Burnley FC but here are three more words I remember:

mazy - my mother's word for dizzy
chimbley - my Grandma said this. She also used childer all the time.
coits - we used this for the roof of any low building e.g. playin' on t' coits, if we climbed on to the coal place stone roof. I never heard it refer to a coat. But then, we were five miles from Burnley and maybe spoke a different language.
