There is a Dalesman publication, probably out of print, 'Lancashire Dialect', 1976, by Peter Wright. (His chapter on dialect humour is a hoot) There is a bibliography. There are plenty of printed sources of various sorts, including short glossaries in dialect or general books. Rex |
