If you looked a bit pale and sickly, my Grandma, from Burnley, used to say....."eeee Chuck, you look just like a white sick monkey!"
Has anyone else come across this quiant saying?

Something close I remember would be "She looked like a right sick monkey"....with those long flat 'a' may have sounded like 'white'.
