Did we already add 'mee-mawing'? The mouthing and sign language of the cotton mills? And here's one I remember: " Stop thi mallokin...ah's mek thi goo t'th'end o't'queue"....I think that verb is probably a derivation of 'Malarkey'. |

My in-laws used to say " marlickin' " for messing about. Maybe it's something to do with that |
