Post subject:  Thomas Sutcliffe and Margaret Harley

Thomas was born in 1866 in Anne Street Burnley. He was the 3rd child (2nd son) of William Sutcliffe (born Briercliffe) and Betty Sutcliffe (born Barrowford). Betty was a Sutcliffe before she married William.
Thomas died 2 July 1935 in Blackpool.

Thomas married Margaret on the 31 March 1888 at St Andrews Church in Wolverhampton.

Margaret was born in 1866 in Wolverhampton. She was the 6th & last child of Joseph Harley and Caroline Carrington. Margarets parents had both died by the time she was 15. I don't know when or why she went to Burnley, these are questions I would love to know the answers to. Margaret died 6 August 1921 in Blackpool.

Thomas and Margaret lived, with their children, at 707 Briercliffe Road for several years. They moved to Blackpool at the end of WWI. They ran a boarding house in Brighton Terrace, Lytham Road for a few years.

Thomas and Margaret are buried with one of their children, who died in infancy, at Wheatley Lane Inghamite Church.
