Job Nutter b. 1862 in Nelson Lancs married Mary Smith b. 1867 in Portland Dorset,

My Great Great Uncle was Job Nutter b. 1840 in Nelson
My 1st cousin 3x removed was James Nutter who was an international music hall star... stage name James Norrie. His brother Thomas toured with him as his accompanist

The whole family was very musical. Gt Gt Uncle Job was conductor of Nelson Old Band in the 1870s and 80s, they won loads of competitions. The family were members of St John's choir, Nelson and St John's Amateur Operatic Society.

I'd love to find out more about them, if anyone has any additional info.

Thank you

My dad is Albert Britcliffe his best friend is Judith Askew (née Nutter). I am friendly with a few Nutters from around Hurst Green. A good family.
