Whitaker, John Sagar, Thomas Copley. 1625-6. -John Ormeroide, Robert Slater, James Crossley, Richard Blackburne. 1626-7. -Robert Parker, Richard Smith, John Smith, Bernard Walmsley. 1627-8. -Richard Birtwistle, John Lawe, John Waltone, William Halstead. 1628-9. -William Ffouldes, Henrie Ffarrar, Richard Ingham, John Eastwood. 1629-30. -William Ffoulds, Thomas Bridge, George Shawe, Peter Hitchone, Abraham Lawe. 1630-31. -Oates Sagar, William Barcrofte, Thomas Copley.

John Hitchon seems to have been a common name. About this time a John Hitchon lived at Briercliffe, at Habergham-Eaves, and at Worsthorne.
In 1634, on the division of the seats in the church, one was set apart for John Hartley, "of Overtowne." There are other entries about the same time of John Hartley, of "Overtowne."
George Birtwistle in the same year is mentioned as of Habergham-Eaves. In 1629 a George Birtwistle, "of Fillie Close, in Pendle," died.
The only other entry of Richard Acykroide is in 1637, when the funeral of a son of "Richard Ayckaroyde de Breclife" is recorded.
Thomas Copley was a Burnley man apparently.
About this time there are several entries concerning "John Ormerod," of Gambleside.
Richard Blackburn seems to have been a Briercliffe man.
In 1634 a Robert Parker was living at Holden Clough.
William Halstead was probably a Worsthorne man, as was also Henrie Ffarrar.
William Ffoulds lived at "Dancer House," and was buried at St. Peter's Church on March 20, 1651.
Thomas Bridge was a Habergham-Eaves man.
George Shaw was a Cliviger man. He and Lawrence Ingham were granted a seat in the church for Styperden.
Oates Sagar seems to have lived at Walshaw.
A William Barcrofte lived at Moisley.

Thanks Mel. Interesting reading. There was a Robert Parker christened 1591 St Peters Burnley born to John Parker and Margaret (Townley). They had two Roberts born previous to this one who must have died. They appear to have had 14 children in total, one of which was adopted.

The surviving Churchwardens' Accounts, 1728-1778, were published in 1969 by the Burnley Historical Society, edited by Walter Bennett. Plenty of names of churchwardens, tradesmen receiving payment, and others. The various townships all had their separate wardens. No doubt in the Burnley Reference Library.
