Uncertain future for two more Burnley pubs

THE future of two Burnley pubs appears uncertain in the latest blow to the borough’s licensed trade.

The Sun Inn, Burnley Road, Haggate, and the Craven Heifer, Briercliffe Road, Burnley, have both shut their doors within days of each other.

Oh dear, trouble is once they close they rarely reopen successfully. They used to have live bands in the Sun, it must have been deafening as it is only a small pub. We used to jokingly mention the Sun Inn rent a crowd, as they seemed to go on mass everywhere together. :lol:

I think David B once told me that the same bloke owned Sun Inn and the Heifer...and another 1?
