Post subject:  The Adelphi Hotel. Railway St. Burnley.

This hotel has stood almost derelict for several years now. But with the recent discovery of Richard III burial place, it has resurrected (no pun intended) the question as to why this hotel used the Princes in the Tower as its hotel sign.

Interesting, Adelphi means "brotherly love" or "of the same womb".

Thanks Gloria. I was a bit slow off the mark. The wiki definition was from the Greek word "adelphoi" meaning brothers. Which explains it all.
