Hi
I was wondering if anyone on here could help me with a photograph of the outside of the above public house. The explanation for this as follows.

I have checked the three trade directories for 1941, 1945 and 1949 and I have found a Mrs Mona Broughton in a beerhouse called Millers' Arms, 18 Junction St, Burnley. In 1941 this is being run by Ernest Catlow and in 1949 Albert E Stewart. Unfortunately we do not have any directories that cover the intervening years but I hope this is of some use to you.

This information was provided by the Burnley Library who have my thanks.

Mrs Mona Broughton is my Grandmother. Previously known as Mrs Mona Tiffen and a maiden name of Mona Procter. My mother was Audrey Frances Tiffen and I believe she also lived at the pub between serving in the ATS. Also at the pub was my Step Grandfather Benny Broughton my Grandmother's second husband. I would any information about their time in the pub and if a photo of the pub could be found that would be great.

You could try this on Facebook, they have added loads of photos in the past, and if they haven't added one you could post this request.Burnley Lancashire Now and Then https://m.facebook.com/groups/150737011640915
