I have received the following email from Margaret Nuttall of the libraries department. If anyone is interested in volunteering, you can contact the department on the phone number in the message or PM for the email address please.

I am contacting you to ask if there would be any of your members who would like to volunteer to assist with history walks around the Briercliffe district run by the Library Service and Active Spaces - an NHS/LCC Groundwork partnership. The walks would start from the Library in Briercliffe and follow a circular route lasting about an hour and a half. If any of your members are interested in helping out with route planning or walking, can they contact me at Burnley Central Library Community History Department. tel 01282 463757, or via email to the above address. Thank you, Margaret Nuttall, Burnley District Community History Library.
