What a marvelous collection of photos you have here.In the School Photos of Abel Street 1929 there is an Evelyn Beckett who is almost certainly my mother\'s younger sister.

I do have a question about a photo in the traders section.The photo is the Fruit seller.On his basket he has what appears to be the word BECK do you have any information about who the gentleman is.My grandfather ,who I never met, was a shopkeeper and may have also been a street trader and was called George Beckett.

I have no further information about that photo. I cannot find any Becks in the Burnley census or directory so it could be a Beckett!?
