Post subject:  Thanks

Thiis email has made my day - makes it all worthwhile :D

today I do not have a question, I simply wish to say a heartfelt thank you to you and all involved in creating such an interesting site, I am currently tracing my family tree and your site has been wonderful and has so much more for me to explore.
Thank you also to Debbie for the family tree of Charles Wood, I am one of his gt, gt, gt, gt granddaughters through his daughter Hannah Wood. I also have many other relations at rest in Haggate.
my best wishes, Erica Jane Heaps (nee Kippax)

Hi Gloria, thanks for the friendly welcome, it seems there were lots of Kippax families in Briercliffe, I think we are in different trees, I am related to Robert Kippax (1797) and Mary Taylor (1807)

Hi Erica,
I think if you could go back another generation or two you would find us linking together, they all seem to go back to the same group---- which I suppose we all do eventually
What other Briercliffe families have you in your tree?

Hi Gloria, I have connections to Robert Thornton, Lawrence Nutter (1787), James Tattersall (1787), William Spencer (1789), a lot of my Dads family lived in the area, it's fascinating, have you spent a lot of time on your family tree?

Probably spent too long on my tree, it started when our granddaughter was born and she is 10yrs old next week.
My Briercliffe connections are through my Dad's family through his Dad---all good fun.
