Good morning My 1st cousin twice removed, Rhoda BATHER (b.1883 in Barrowford) married John HEAP in 1913 (registered in Burnley). They had 3 sons: Alfred b.1914 Kenneth b.1920 James T. b.1922 Does this fit in with anybody's tree? best regards |

I have one or two John Heaps in my Tree that may be a possibility, do you know his parents names or dob, addresses etc or any other information please ?, I have quite a collection of that family name. |

Hi Shattonblade The only info that I have is what I got from Freebmd, which only gives the names, date of registration and the area. The children were also obtained from Freebmd. Seems HEAP is a wellknown local name. |

Yes Heap is a local Lancashire name - I seem to have amassed almost 200 from Burnley and its environs - (no television you see) ? My advice would be to send for the marraige certificate in order that you can establish the parents, addresses and occupations. |

If you wish to contact me I have a photograph of the Gravestone of John Heap and his wife Rhoda which I have submitted to Mel who I understand will shortly post it on the Haggate site as well. I am pretty sure that the John Heap is in my Tree. |

I had hoped to add quite a few submissions this weekend but Lyndon decided to start fitting the new kitchen yesterday so I'm labourer/chief tool passer...for today at least. Sorry. I will add them the first chance I get. |
