I have received the following via email from Harry Pickles.

I have a newspaper article from around 1931 reporting the death of my grandfather Richard PICKLES of 260 Briercliffe
Road. My father was Clifford Pickles of Cuerdale Street where he had many brothers and sister, most of whom worked at \'Siberia\' Mill. My Uncle John Robert (Bob) Pickles lived oppposite Haggate Post Office on Burnley Road and was well known in the area. I would appreciate any information from Sykers concerning the family as I must have lots of cousins etc whom I have never met living in Briercliffe.

Harry has also sent me a newspaper article which I will transcribe and add to the site later today.
