To take up a point in Peter's post (pjsleigh). Joshua HEAP was indeed baptised at St James as an adult, not long before he died ! All his children's births were recorded at Haggate Baptist, and he was buried there. Hedging his bets ? Rex |

Hi. I'm Stephen Peacock. I've only just started researching my family history and it has lead me here to the Heaps! My grandfather is Trevor Milner Peacock, son of Milner Eugene Peacock who was the son of Harry Peacock and Ethel Maud Williams. If anybody knows of more details that would help me trace back further or pictures they would be appreciated! |

David Peacock 1850-1926 married Ellen Heap 1850-1934 in 1872. Ellen Heap is my 1st cousin twice removed. I have photographs of David, Ellen, Margaret, Harry, Ethel Maud. The photographs were obtained from a relative in New Zealand. Peter |

Hi, thanks for the reply would you be able to upload copies of the pictures. It would be brilliant to show these to Trevor. Thanks again |
