What time period Lynda?

Some census will let you search by address.

There is also the electoral register, held at libraries I think.

1861 to 1863 I think. I have the marriage cert of my gggrandfather and have an address for him on marriage and one for his spouse also. The address for him is different on the 1861 census if Ive found the right person and also on the census for his spouse who is Ann Catlow c1837. Her father is Samuel Catlow 'factory operative'. The only Ann Catlow that seems to fit is Sarah Ann Catlow who's father Samuel was a mill owner, but why say factory operative? So I thought find the address on marriage and see who lived there on the 1861 census.
Hope that helps
Regards Lynda
