I am researching Rebecca Taylor, born Apr-June 1850 at Holt Hill, Briercliffe. She married Lawrence Atkinson in 1872 and died in 1929. I know of 4 children - Edmund; David; Clara and Margaret. In the 1881 census the family were at 37 Grey Street in Burnley. She was buried at Haggate Baptist chapel. Can anyone provide more information about the Taylor family, please? Regards Carole |

Hi Carole, welcome to the site! C152 Monument Larence ATKINSON of St. Annes formerley of Burnley born May 14th 1850 died April 7th 1918 Rebecca his wife died January 23rd 1929 aged 79yrs Margaret Ann daughter and wife of John BERRY died October 7th 1945 aged 66yrs Elizabeth wife of Jeremiah SPENCER died March 21st 1958 aged 72yrs Above Jeremiah died November 18th 1960 aged 75yrs viewtopic.php?f=17&t=307&p=9841&hilit=atkinson#p9841 |

Thank-you Willfinder General. I have been unable to find the Taylor family that Rebecca belongs to so far. Also I don't know if Elizabeth is their daughter. I know Margaret is. In the 1881 census Rebecca's birthplace is Holt Hill. |
