Have been doing a little research on fathers side of the family ...The FROSTS. They also seem to be from Lancashire ...a place called Crumpsall.
It's a long shot but does Roger Frost come from there?

I can't remember. I know his parents aren't Briercliffe born as he has mentioned it once or twice.
I haven't managed to get hold of him this week but I know he is busy this weekend with the heritage weekend events.

I have finally managed to get hold of Roger. His Frost's are from Clophill (spelling?) in Bedfordshire. They eventually ended up in Burnley in 1924 having also stayed in Luton and Nottingham.
