For more information on Storey's Shop.
Read the "Posts" on subject "William Graves". These are found in this Forum under Site Contact Submission which you will find if you scroll the Forum page down. William Graves owned or ran the shop in the 1920s. :D

Dear cbraithwaite,

James Caygill was my grandfather. My mother was Alice nee-Caygill and my father Robert Nutter.

Storey's Cafe was owned by Bill Storey, brother to my grandmother (James' wife Elizabeth).

I did not think that Gerald and Gladys were relations. My Auntie Maud (my mother's younger sister) also worked at the cafe. I remember Gerald used to go to Higham to collect Maud to take her to work in order that she could bake for him.

I would be very interested in hearing how you are related to my grandfather James ?
