Since I last posted, I've found Bessie GARBETT 1886 & husband William Alfred ASTIN 1887 emigrated from Burnley to Australia in 1912. Now realise that their children (whose names were supplied by Bessie's nephew) were born and lived in the Melbourne area. Looking for info on: Ivy Florence Astin 1913 marr James ANDERSON, Beatrice Mary Astin 1915 marr Henry LITTLE & Arthur Leslie VALENTINE, Sylvia Astin 1919 marr James Bernard KELLY, John Astin 1925. Perhaps some of their descendants are researching on this site |
