Hi, have just joined the Forum and my family connection are the Spencers, in particular the descendents of James Spencer c1758 of Cockden & his wife, Nancy Nutter. My Great Grandparents, Great Great Grandfather & Sister of Great Grandfather are all buried in the same grave at Haggate Baptist Chapel.

Hi,
not a Spencer but a Nutter.
Nancy Nutter born 1798 daughter of Malley Nutter, no father named.
Nancy married Dan Foulds in 1816. I know no more about Malley except maybe the death in 1821. Nancy was my 4Xgt grandmother.
Does she link with your Nutters?
I just love coming from a family of Nutters :lol:

Hi Gloria

Unfortunately I haven't looked at the Nutter side, as I seem to deviate between my family and that of my other half. Shall have to try and find the time once I have returned from my week's research in Gib. next month.
