Hi I am looking for any information of the Hoy family who was lived in the Burnley area. William Hoy b @ 1857 married Margaret Moor/re and had several children. Due to their surname being spelt/misspelt on many occasions I am finding it difficult to trace the family from the 1850s. I have found a census with their surname as Hay and one with Hoyel. Hopefully someone from your group has/or is researching this family and in particular their connection to the Sagar family. Joseph Hoy married Jane Sagar @1901. Any help would be great.
