Hi Everyone - I thought I may as well ask, has anyone got a cemetry plan of Haggate and Hill Lane cemetry please. My cousin Alan and I spent a very blustery and wet time last Wednesday looking for several of our families graves - to no avail.

Thank you
ChrissyB

Not that I know of Chrissy,I have the same problem as I take a lot of photos up there. I know roughly where the A,B and C sections are.

Are you looking for a particular grave?? I have quite a lot of Haggate Grave photos that have not yet been put on the site it may be one of those. If not let me know who you are looking for and I will find them for you and take a photo.
As far as I am aware all the Hill Lane grave photos are on the site already.

A plan for Hill Lane would be appreciated anyway Gloria please.

There are some references on the MI's that have now shown up in the picture I have taken.

I think Section F is a bit of the old section David...probably near the fence and on both sides of it.

I've just had a look through the images yet to be added and I don't see any Waterworths among them. It is quite overgrown on the wrong side of the fence. Kris and I uncovered a table stone that was covered in moss and probably hadn't seen light of day for several years...how many more are there in the same condition?

I thought I had taken all the visible ones in the old part. I will have another good look in that general area when I go up.

I think if it is anywhere, it will probably be where all the shubbery is near to the fence. Some of the stones have great big bushes growing in front of them!
What number is that Joseph Sutcliffe one?

David, this stone is F52 http://www.briercliffesociety.co.uk/Grave%20Stones/Haggate%20Chapel/S/Sutcliffe6.htm so I would expect it to be near to it. Maybe not as close to the fence as I thought!
