Hi, I don’t know if anyone can help me but I am looking for a Woodvine grave located at Burnley Cemetery. Roberta Tina Woodvine of Layfield Street, Burnley, aged 2 years, was buried 28 June 1967, grave no. A19989. Would someone be able look and see if there is a grave, and if so can I have a photo please?

Kris, If you do make another visit north...I'm sure the cemetery staff will have a map and will be able to show you the location of this grave.
Have you asked them who else is in that grave? I don't see any other Woodvines with the same grave number.

Yes, they do have a map and I know which area this is because the number is very close to my Granddad’s grave.

I will ask them what other names are in the plot.

The grave in question was owned by May Dunleavy

24th October 1962 Thomas Dunleavy 57 yrs
28th June 1967 Roberta T Woodvine 2 mths
27th June 1980 May Dunleavy 73 yrs

Yeah, it means they are related through a distant branch, but no more at this point.

Did you have a nice time in Halifax?

I had a wonderful time. Found a document, I think it was an apprenticeship but anyway, it reveals quite a bit within my tree. I've ordered a copy.

Bad trip home, there has been a terrible accident at J21 M6. It was just north of where the M62 joins it so our lane was flowing but it's closed in both directions probably until at least 6pm they said on the radio. Looks like it may have been fatal as there were tarpaulins covering vehicles as well as a bike on the central reservation. It looks like a camper van was involved though it's hard to tell, it's completely wrecked and there is debris everywhere. A sad night for some poor unsuspecting soul(s).
