Very definitely Simonstone. Locally they refer to the Ladies of Simonstone and the Women of Read, because Read was where the workers lived and Simonstone was where the posh people lived. (Think it's t'other way round now tho).

My certificate came yesterday...told me nothing I didn't know. I'm well miffed. It was a death and I was hoping for next of kin or relationship details...at least something to confirm this man as in my tree...nowt. :(

Has she noticed yet?
