Post subject:  Pound family

Hi Does anyone out there have any infomation on the Pounds family, they appear to have moved up from the Cornwall/Devon area in the late 1800s and there was a brother and sister (Mildred & Harry) who married brother and siter Stanley and Ivy Pollard. I have managed to trace back the Pollards to early 1800s (if anyone goes back further I would be glad of any info on this line, especially anything about a Servitus/Sylvester Pollard) but have only got back on the Pound side to 1853 with a Samuel Pound b 1853 in Plymouth. I know its probably a long shot but you never know.

Is this his birth? Have you got the cert?--it would have his parents names.

Possible marriage to a Mary Ann Bawden, in the 1891 census his wife is Mary A
The cert would give you his father's name.
Samuel Pound
