Quite right, Mel, I'd overlooked that. The image also tells you "Industry or service with which worker is connected", "Whether employer, worker or working on own account" and "Whether working at home".

But I agree with you: the extra information on the image isn't worth three times what you get in the transcript, especially since the transcript has information not in the image!

It’s important for me to see the real image. My Woodvine family came up as Woodbine, and I would have presumed that this was mistranscribed, but its not, the original does say “Woodbine”. Also, there is a deceased child mentioned, something I would not have known about if I had bought the transcript.

Its nice to see the persons handwriting as well, an extra bonus.
