Does anyone have any idea if there is online access to any newspapers in the Nelson area? I would like to check for an unfortunate death in 1899 where an inquest was held. I am assuming there would have been a newspaper report on such a death.

Unfortunately Nelson newspapers are not on line, but you can contact the library.

Try e-mailing Nelson Library, if you know the date of death then they may look for the report for you, as it wouldn't take much searching for.
