How far is waterside Colne from Heyhead in Little marsden please?
I have found many Whalleys being baptised in late 1700 & 1800 in St Bartholomews church Colne but addresses are waterside. Am I wasting my time researching this list for Whalleys in Heyhead Little Marsden?
Thank you

It's only 2-3 miles away. Quite feasible I would have thought. I had lots from Briercliffe who went to St Bartholomews.

Both Marsdens were in Colne chapelry, so vital events (baptism, marriage, burial !) should normally be at Colne.
